Mark the bracket positions

Measure and mark the mounting bracket locations. Space the brackets approximately 20 to 32 inches apart, depending on the width of the shade.

Make sure all marks are straight, level and aligned before drilling.

Drill the mounting holes

When mounting into drywall, drill the required holes and insert suitable drywall anchors.

Anchors may not be required when fastening directly into a wood window frame, solid wood backing or a structural stud.

Secure the mounting brackets

Position each bracket over the prepared holes and secure it using the appropriate screws.

Confirm that every bracket is firmly attached and remains level with the others.

Position the cassette

Hold the cassette at a slight angle and insert the front edge of the bracket into the corresponding groove at the front of the cassette.

Click the cassette into place

Push the cassette firmly inward, then lift it upward until it clicks securely into the mounting brackets.

Gently check the cassette to confirm that it is fully engaged with every bracket.

Secure the operating chain

For chain-operated shades, securely attach the chain tensioner to the window frame or wall.

The chain should remain taut without being overstretched so the shade can operate smoothly.

Mark the installation position

Inside mount: Mark the desired bracket positions along the top inside surface of the window frame.

Outside mount: Mark the desired bracket positions on the wall or trim above the window.

Install the brackets

Inside mount: Use the holes on the top of the bracket to secure it inside the window frame.

Outside mount: Use the rear mounting holes to secure the bracket to the wall or window trim.

Outside-mount bracket orientation

When installing outside the window opening, position the bracket so the rear mounting holes sit flat against the wall or trim.

Make sure the brackets are level and securely fastened before attaching the shade.

Attach the shade

Insert the headrail into the grooves on the mounting brackets, then press it firmly upward until it clicks into place.

Check each bracket to ensure the shade is fully secured before operating it.

Prepare the mounting brackets

If necessary, slightly loosen the screw on each mounting bracket to create enough space for the bracket to clip onto the track.

Connect multiple track sections

If the curtain track was supplied in multiple sections, use the included joiner to connect the sections.

Position mounting brackets close to both sides of the joiner to provide additional support.

Position the brackets

Clip one bracket near each end of the track and distribute the remaining brackets evenly between them.

Make sure the grooves in the track fit securely into each bracket.

Lightly secure the brackets

Tighten the bracket screws enough to hold the brackets in position on the track.

Do not overtighten at this stage, as minor adjustments may still be required during positioning.

Mark the installation line

Hold the assembled track in its intended position and mark each bracket location on the wall or ceiling.

Use a level to make sure the track is straight and correctly aligned.

Drill and install anchors

Drill the marked holes and install anchors appropriate for the wall or ceiling material.

Anchors may not be required when fastening directly into solid wood, structural framing or suitable backing.

Secure the track

Fasten each bracket securely to the wall or ceiling using the appropriate screws.

Once the track is correctly positioned, fully tighten the bracket screws and confirm that the entire track is stable.

Hang the drapery

Insert each drapery hook into a corresponding runner on the curtain track.

Work gradually from one side to the other and confirm that the hooks are distributed evenly.

Steam and dress the drapery

Use a garment steamer to gently remove packaging wrinkles and creases.

Arrange the folds by hand and allow the drapery time to settle into its natural shape.
